Sample Letter to Representative

Dear Senator (or Representative) ______________,

I’m writing to ask you to help make KanCare Expansion happen this year.

~ Over 150,000 Kansans can get health care they currently can’t afford.

~ It will help keep the doors open in rural Kansas hospitals, clinics and Dr. Offices.

~ It will increase the availability of mental health and substance abuse treatment so badly needed in Kansas!

~ Over 13,000 new jobs will come to our state.

~ AND our federal tax $ currently going to 38 other states will return to Kansas!

To me, it’s not a Democrat or Republican issue. As a person of faith, it’s a moral issue. It’s time to get this done and it would be a huge benefit to our state
